Our menus change with season and availability but the menus below give a flavour of what we offer. We use fresh ingredients, mostly from local suppliers.

Autumn / Winter Menu Sunday Menu


From March 2nd we will be joined by our new chef, Ben Cumperpatch, and Ben will be offering a new, exciting menu, with top quality seasonal food from local suppliers. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday lunchtime will offer a Fixed Price menu with extra pub classics, while Friday night and Saturday will feature our new a la carte menu.

We aren't  going too fancy, just great local food cooked with flair and taste at good prices.

We will continue to offer a classic Sunday roast with a vegetarian and a vegan option and our signature spiced red cabbage.

Our food will be complemented by an excellent wine list, a great range of spirits and well-kept ales and lagers on tap.

Special Occasions

Our back bar can be turned into a special room to suit any occasion, whether it’s a sit-down meal (up to 24) or a buffet (up to 40). We are happy to decorate – or you can bring your own – and you will always be made to feel welcome and special. Later in the year we will be making the orchard section of our garden available for private outdoor events.
