A 16th Century Inn with mummified cats (yes, really... come and visit and we can tell you all about them and how they protect the pub) We have tales of smugglers and ghosts to tell, traditional Folk and Americana open sessions and AA Rosette, award winning food.
This is me with our Monday Night Quizmaster, who occasionally doubles as my husband on the rare occasions we have free time. Alongside us is Martha. Don't be fooled by that adorable face, she is the worst pub dog ever.
This is Ben, the best chef in Hastings. You probably won't meet him, he prefers food to people.
Meet Robbie. He's Ben's second in command in the kitchen. He's absolutely lovely and Ben is happy because he has a friend to talk about football and food with, even though he's one of those Man U fans who has never been North of Watford!
Meet Emily. She's sparkling, efficient and endlessly cheerful. She also has a weird affinity with radishes and wants to be 'something in fashion'; seeing what an amazing seamstress she is, I think she will be.
This is Will. He's our Folk Night hero .... not only can you find him behind the bar on our Tuesday Folk nights but he often sings and he's not half bad. And he's ex-household cavalry so our brasses have never been so buffed!
Welcome Becca. She's the newest member of The Stag family and we love her. She's warm and friendly and according to her sister, has more DMs than the actual factory. Apparently she also used to be a scientific glassblower, making crucial parts for radiation detectors - so feel free to ask questions!
